Welcome to Port Hunter 4x4 Club

Port Hunter 4x4 Club is a social 4WD club, based in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle region of NSW Australia.

Club meetings start at 7:30pm on the 1st Wednesday of every month at Club Macquarie Main Road Argenton NSW, except January when we meet at the Little Gibber, Hawks Nest.

The Club was formed in the early 1980's by a group of keen 4WD drivers and has grown to one of the most respected in the Hunter area. The Club promotes safe and responsible recreational four wheel driving (4wding), has a focus on long term sustainability for access to 4WD tracks and asks that all take an active role in abiding by the 4WD Code of Ethics.

  • Visitors are welcome.

Port Hunter 4x4 Club encourages all owners of 4WD vehicles to participate.

Port Hunter 4x4 Club encourages conservation by the education of its members through good example. On trips the Club drives on the track, not 'off road'. The Club abides by the regulations of government authorities, always seeks land owner permission to use private land and carries out what it carries in.
